Cacao does not fit in one valley. The Willkamayu rises on the slopes of Cunurana, becomes the Urubamba, and goes looking for the Amazon.
Five terroirs sit on that path.

They call themselves aént, the true people. The garden is called aja: the women keep it, and every plant there has a name. Awajún is still spoken on these slopes.
